YU Yuphoria users can now update their phone to Android 6.0 Marshmallow with CyanogenMod 13 custom ROM. This is an unofficial, preview version of CM13 ROM. However, if want to go crazy and play with the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow on your Yu Yuphoria, you can tryout this unofficial CM13 ROM via a custom recovery.
The following guide shows you how to install unofficial CyanogenMod 13 (Android 6.0 Marshmallow) custom ROM on Yu Yuphoria. However, please note that this is an experimental build, so it might have many bugs that have not been fixed yet. Users are advised to take caution before flashing the ROM.
Developed by an XDA user Santhosh M, this unofficial CyanogenMod 13 ROM for Yu Yuphoria is based on Google’s latest Android v6.0 Marshmallow and includes all the basic features of CM, including Theme engine. Major features of Android 6.0 Marshmallow include Doze battery saving, Now on Tap, new personalized app permission manger and System UI tuner.
How to Install CyanogenMod 13 on Yu Yuphoria

Installation Instruction
1. Make sure your Yu Yuphoria is rooted and installed latest TWRP recovery on it
2. Download CyanogenMod CM13 (unofficial) ROM zip file [HERE] or [HERE] and save it on your phone. Also, download Android 6.0 compatible Gapps zip file [HERE] and save it on the phone.
3. Turn off the device and boot into TWRP recovery mode. To do so, press and hold ‘Volume Up + Volume Down + Power’- buttons.
4. In recovery, does a complete wipe (cache, dalvik cache, system) by selecting ‘Wipe’ option.
5. Come back to the main recovery menu, select ‘Install’, navigate to CM13 ROM zip file and swipe to flash. Do the same for Gapps as well.
6. Once done, reboot your phone. It will take a few minutes to complete the first booting process.
Once your phone booted up, setup it and enjoy Android 6.0 Marshmallow. If you come across issues like bootloop, reboot into recovery mode and wipe cache and dalvik cache. (Source – XDA)
