Huawei Honor 7 owners in India who are waiting for the final build of Android 6.0 Marshmallow update and the new Emotion UI 4.0 interface on their phone, there is good news for them. Huawei has started to roll out the stable build of Android 6.0 Marshmallow (B330) for Honor 7 (PLK-UL00IN) in India. If you are unable to install the update via OTA (over the air), here is how to download and install it manually.

The Android 6.0 update will bring Huawei’s new EMUI 4.0 user interface, Marshmallows native features like Doze mode, App permission, etc. and various new features, performance enhancements, bug fixes, add-ons, to Honor 7.

To install the Android 6.0 Marshmallow (firmware version B330) update, your Honor 7 (PLK-UL00IN) should be running on the latest Android Lollipop firmware.

How to install Android 6.0 update (Final) on Huawei Honor 7

1. Download Android 6.0 (Honor 7_Firmware_PLK-UL00IN_Android 6.0_EMUI 4.0_C675B330CUSTC675D003_India_Flipkart.zip) update package from official website [HERE] or [HERE] (1.56GB)

2. Unzip the content and transfer the extracted “dload” folder to your phone’s external SD card

3. Disconnect your phone from your PC and reboot it by holding Vol Up + Vol Down + Power buttons together for a few seconds. Release Power button upon vibration.

4. Once the upgrade process starts, release the volume keys and allow the installation to proceed.

After rebooting your phone, setup and enjoy Android Marshmallow with the new Emotion UI 4.0 interface on your Honor 7.
