Asus has started testing the Android Oreo Beta update on the ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) variant. Selected users enrolled for Beta will get the update for testing purpose. However, a leaked version of Android Oreo Beta (build WW_15.0410.1711.6_0) is now available for Asus ZenFone 3 ZE552KL that you can install and experience the new features right now.

Android Oreo will bring several new features, like PIP (Picture in Picture), notification dots, Smart text selection, Auto-fill, revamped Quick Settings menu, faster startup, app sign-in, Google Play Protect and more. Also, Oreo beta for ZenFone 3 includes November 2017 security patches.

If you are excited to try out the latest Android Oreo based ZenUI on your ZenFone 3 ZE552KL, here is how to get it. Thanks to the XDA contributor OreoBooyah, the leaked Oreo beta can be installed manually on your device, if it meets the requirements.

To install the leaked beta version of Android Oreo, your ZenFone 3 should be on stock recovery and updated to WW-14.2020.1711.75. We are not sure does it work with the latest build WW-14.2020.1711.80.

How to Install Android Oreo Beta on ZenFone 3 ZE552KL

1. Make sure that ZenFone 3 ZE552KL is running on SKU version WW-14.2020.1711.75.

2. Download leaked Oreo beta from here/here and save the zip file your SD card.

3. Now, boot your phone into stock recovery by pressing Power button & Vol Down button.

4. Select install update via microSD card and then select the .zip file you have saved on the phone.
