1. Download and install the Mi control center app from the Play Store (link) on your Xiaomi phone.
2. Alter installation, open the app, and grant Accessibility and Notifications permissions.
3. Go back to Mi Control Center app and ensure “Running” option is turned on.
4. Now, in the Setting menu of the app, tap on the Colors option and then choose Background type.
5. Next, in the Background type, choose Image blur, adjust transparency and blur amount, and tap OK to save the settings.

- Tap on the “deviceLevelList” parameter and choose the EDIT VALUE option.
- Replaced the “v:1,c:1,g:1” value with “v:1,c:3,g:3” value and tap on Save Changes option.
The above changes will bring the Gaussian blur effect on your Redmi and Poco phones running MIUI 12 or MIUI 12.5.
