Main Features of Vivo OriginOS

Vivo offers a smoother, more convenient, and extra secure OS to users through its new OriginOS. The new Klotski home screen grid, enhanced memory fusion technology 1.0, Multi-Turbo 5.0, new Nano alerts, and live wallpapers are some of the new features of OriginOS.

The new home screen grid in OriginOS is derived from the popular Klotski sliding block puzzles game. It will bring a cleaner and beautiful look to your home screen.

Enhanced memory fusion technology 1.0, along with Multi-Turbo 5.0 feature, will bring a high-performance boost. Memory integration, process optimization, application pre-loading, intelligent app freezing technology version 2.0, and optimal resource allocation will improve the performance of the device.

Nano Alerts is another new feature of the OS. You’ll receive weather information, flight information, courier tracking, and more right on your home screen and lock screen as a popup alert.

OriginOS (Android 11) update schedule

Vivo will release the first OriginOS beta in January 2021. Vivo Nex 3S, X50 Pro/X50 Pro+, X50, Vivo S7, iQOO 5/Pro, iQOO 3, iQOO, iQOO Pro and iQOO Neo 3 will receive the update in January 2021.
In the second phase, that is in Feb 2021, Vivo Nex 3, Nex 3 5G, Vivo X30/X30 Pro, and iQOO Neo will get the beta update.

In Q2 of 2021, Vivo X27/Pro, Vivo S6, Vivo Z6, Vivo Z5i/Z5x/Z5, Vivo S1, Vivo Nex/S, iQOO Z1X/Z1, etc. will get the OriginOS beta update.
