The Surf or the Ski Slope in Microsoft Edge is an addictive, simple game that you can play offline or online on your smartphone and computer. Now, Microsoft adds a shortcut of the game on the homepage/new tab page of the Edge browser on Android. So you can start the game just with a tap without needing to go to the edge://surf page.

Here is how to enable the Surf game shortcut on Edge’s homepage/new tab page on Android. Currently, it is an experimental feature and is available in the latest canary version (v99)of Edge.

How to Enable Edge Surf Game Entry on New Tab Page?

1. Open Edge browser on your Android phone and go to the edge://flags page.

2. In the experimental flags search box, type NTP surf game.

3. In the search result that appears, change the NTP surf game from Default to Enabled.

4. Now, restart your browser by tapping on the Relaunch button.

You have now enabled Surf game shortcut on the homepage/new tab page of Edge browser. You can see the shortcut on the bottom right of the window.

To play the game, tap on the Surf game shortcut. It will open the edge://surf. Now double tap on the screen to start playing the game.

To play the Surf game on your PC, open Edge browser, type edge://surf in the address bar, and hit Enter key. It will open the Ski Slope game. Use Spacebar to start the game and use arrow keys on your keyboard to play the game.

You can play Edge’s Surf game to kill time when you are bored, and there is no network connection on the phone.
