Send Text Messages From Google Chrome Using Your Current Phone Number

Sending (also receiving) text messages directly from your Chrome browser can have a number of advantages. For example, you can compose and send a message quickly using the computer keyboard. It can be handy when you are at your PC without having the phone in hand and don’t want to miss an important call or a SMS message.

Here is how to send and receive text messages from your Chrome browser using your current phone number from your Android phone. You can also reply to a missed call with a message from your Chrome browser.

For this, you need to install an extension called MightText (previously it was Texty) on your Chrome and MightText app on your Android phone. After installing it both on your phone and Chrome, simply use your Google account to connect with it.
