Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 now gets August 2019 security patch and NFC fix via a new update. The stock Android 9 Pie based update with build number 16.2017.1906.069 is rolling out to ZenFone Max Pro M2 ZB630KL and ZB631KL variants. This update will also carry general bug fixes and system improvements.
The low budget ZenFone Max Pro M2 was launched with stock Android Oreo, and then upgraded to Android 9 Pie. Recently, Asus added Digital Wellbeing function to the device that allows users to manage how much time they are spending on their phone.
The new WW_16.2017.1906.069 OTA update is available for download now. If you haven’t received the OTA update yet, check it manually by going to Settings -> About – > System Update.
