Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S Android 9 Pie (MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 8.9.7) Recovery/Fastboot ROM Released

Finally, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S Android 9 Pie Open Beta released as MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 8.9.7. Both Recovery and fastboot ROM are available for download, which means anyone can install the Android 9 Pie beta on their Mi Mix 2S regardless of installed ROM version. What is more, Xiaomi’s beta update is usually stable, so it can be used as a daily driver.

Install Android 9.0 Pie based on MIUI 10 Global Beta on Mi Mix 2S

# Recovery method (Mi Mix 2S should be on MIUI Global Beta):

1. Transfer the downloaded ROM zip file on your Mi Mix 2S.

2. Now, go to Settings > About phone > System Updates.

3. Tap on the option “Choose update package”.

4. Navigate to the zip file to flash it.

#TWRP method:

1. If above method does not worked, you may try it via TWRP.

2, Boot Mi Mix 2S into TWRP and select Install

3. Navigate to ROM zip file and swipe to flash.

4. Once done, reboot the phone. Enjoy Android 9.0 Pie on your Mi Mix 2S.

# Fastboot method (requires unlocked bootloader)

2. Unlock bootloer of your phone by going here.
