Realme 1 users can now enjoy latest ColorOS 5.2 and its latest offerings on their device. The OEM starts rolling out ColorOS 5.2 stable OTA update for the phone and the update comes as build number CPH1861EX_11.A.25. Since the update is rolling out in phases, it will take a couple of days or weeks to complete the roll out.
The company recently invited users to test beta version of ColorOS 5.2 on the Realme 1. They have also promised the release of the stable version of the OS before December 2108. Now it is real. All Realme 1 users will get the brand new OS and its new features in the coming days.
New Material Design icons, new boot animation, October 2018 security patch, launch Google Assistant by holding the power button for 0.5 seconds, single swipe notification dismiss, etc. are some of the new features of this update. Full changelog are below.

One swipe dismiss for notifications – Just swipe from left to right to dismiss the notification
Smart Bar – You can add your favorite apps into “Smart Bar” for faster app launching and multitasking
New Material Design icons – To activate it, go to Theme Store > Me > My themes > Apply the default theme
Google Assistant – You can launch Google Assistant by long press the power button for 0.5 seconds
Headset icon in status bar – A headset icon in status bar will be shown when you plug-in the headset
Gaming Space – Lets you enjoy fast gaming experience with performance mode, do not disturb, game acceleration, etc.
Optimized Reminders for Developer Options, Accessibility & Device & Privacy – Flashing bar, on-going notification and text at the upper right corner for these options have been deleted
Album – Video Editing adds fast and slow speed adjustments, extra filters and tunes, and more.
