After a few weeks of break, both OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T are now back to new software update. Both OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T upgraded to OxygenOS 5.0.4 stable build. The last update for OnePlus 5 was 5.0.2 and for 5T was 5.0.3. This new update does not have any major changes from the previous 5.0.2/3 build, except fix for few issues like playback audio quality issue and no ringtone for call.

As per the changelog list, OxygenOS 5.0.4 includes two major bug fixes only. The update fixes no ringtone for incoming calls and notifications which was reported by some users. Users need to restart their handset to get ringtone back. This update solve this issue on both devices.

OnePlus 5T upgraded to OxygenOS 5.0.4

The second fix is for audio quality related issues during video playback on both OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T.

As usual, the new OxygenOS 5.0.4 incremental update which weighs around 61 MB rolling out through OTA (over the air). It will take few days to get on all devices. Check for the OTA update manually by going to Settings > System Updates > Check for OTA updates. Users can also download the update file and flash manually, if wish so.
