Few days back, Xiaomi unveiled its next major OS update MIUI 9 and its features. And now the first beta build of MIUI 9 fastboot ROM for Redmi Note 4X and Mi 6 is available. The Android 7.0 Nougat based MIUI 9 Global ROM is not announced, this is a China ROM for Redmi Note 4X and Xiaomi Mi 6. Interested tech-savvy owners of these devices can download and experience the new MIUI 9.
Note that the official rolls out of MIUI 9 will be in early next month. Xiaomi has already announced a list of devices getting MIUI 9 update alongside the released date. Redmi Note 4X and Xiaomi Mi 6 are the first two devices getting the MIUI 9 update on August 11. Other set of devices will get the update by the end of next month (details available here)
MIUI 9 ROM will bring various new features and performance enhancements to devices. The new file system, wireless acceleration, cache management, dynamic resource allocation, etc. will make it a lightning fast and stable ROM. Users can experience new features like Smart Assistant, Global image search, Smart app Launcher, Split Screen, Notification filter, Home screen customization, New themes and much more.
MIUI 9 China Beta and Alpha Fastboot ROM for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Mi 6 is now avialble for download. You can install the ROM via fastboot using Mi Flash tool.

Note: This is a beta build of MIUI 9, which means it is unstable and includes several bugs. Also, as this a China build it will not include Google Apps.
