Honor 9 Lite starts receiving February 2019 security patch update. The OTA update is available for model LLD-AL10 sold in India. The full software version is LLD-AL 10 8.0.0.203 (675), which is currently rolling out in India for the Honor 9 Lite running EMUI version 8.0.0.202. Similar update is available for Honor 9 Lite running EMUI version 8.0.0.194, which is 8.0.0.195.
The Honor 9 Lite recently received ViLTE (video calling feature) and gesture navigation options with January 2019-security update. It was EMUI version 8.0.0.202 and 8.0.0.194. The latest update does not include any new feature, but improves system security. The OTA update, which weighs around 95MB, takes some times to reach all units.
Honor 9 Lite was launched with Android 8.0 Oreo (EMUI 8.0) out of the box and it will be updated to Android 9 Pie. The company already started EMUI 9.0 open beta testing for the device. The ETA for stable EMUI 9.0 update for the device is not yet announced.

How to download Honor 9 Lite February 2019 OTA update?
The February OTA update is live now for Honor 9 Lite. You can go through the following steps to capture the latest OTA update and install it. Before proceeding, ensure that your device has more than 50% battery.
1. Make sure your device is running on software version 8.0.0.194 or 8.0.0.203
2. Go to Settings app and select “System”.
3. Choose “System updates”.
4. If the February update is live in your region, you will see an “Install Now” option.
