Finally, Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 (2017 edition) has also starts getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update. Indian variant Galaxy A5 (SM-A520F) and Galaxy A7 (SM-A720F) has updated to Android 7.0 Nougat with August security patches (August 1, 2017) and various usability enhancements. If you have not got the OTA notification, check it manually or download and install the firmware manually.
Android 7.0 Nougat update offers new TouchWiz UI for Galaxy A5 and A7, various performance modes, improved usability of the Notification feature, better usability of Multi-window, efficient space for installation of downloaded apps, improved system upgrade speed and app installation and more.
If you have not received the OTA (over the air) notification for the update on your device yet, check it by going to Settings > About phone > System updates > Check For Update. If update found download and install it.
If for some reasons, if you are unable to install the OTA update on your device, for example, if you are out of Wi-Fi network, or modified the device, you can download the full firmware and install it manually on your Galaxy devices.
Note that, for manual installation of Samsung firmware, you need a Windows PC and Odin tool (download link below) and Samsung drivers installed on the PC.
