Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy A series and Galaxy J series owners who are eagerly waiting for the Android 7.0 Nougat update, there is a good news for them. Android 7.0 Nougat ETA (expected time of arrival) for Galaxy S6, S6 edge, Note 5, Galaxy A and J series devices has been now revealed, though it has been over six months since Google released the Android Nougat.

Samsung has already started to roll out Android 7.0 Nougat update for Galaxy S7, S7 edge and S7 Active in some parts of the world, including India, US, UK and other EU countries. Update for other regions are imminent. According to a tweet by Samsung’s official representative, Nougat update for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5 will be hit before the end of February (this month) and Galaxy A and J series will get in the following months.

– Samsung Galaxy J series: July 2017

Note that the above time schedule is based on Samsung Turkish President Tansu Ye?en’s tweet, so there is no guarantee that the update will hit around the world in the same period. However, people in Turkey can expect Android Nougat very soon.

Android 7.0 Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy devices comes with the new Experience UI with enhanced usability, various new features like enhanced multi-window mode, battery optimization, bundled notification, latest Android security patches (patch level January 2017) and performance improvements.
