Asus ZenFone 5Z is one of the non-Pixel phones participated in the Android Q (Android 10) beta program. The first beta of ZenFone 5Z has been released a couple of months back and the second and the last Android Q Beta 6 is now available for the phone.
ZenFone 5Z (ZS620KL) owners who want to experience the new features of Android 10 right now, download the last beta build from the link below and flash it on the phone. The update includes gesture navigation, final APIs, final system behaviors, the latest system optimizations, bug fixes, and August security patch.
Keep in mind that there few known bugs in this build, such as no support for SD card and no support for VoLTE. The Android Q Beta 6 for the phone comes with build number QKQ1.190723.002.WWW_user_100.03.7.34_20190830release-keys and weighs around 1.7GB in size.
ZenFone 5Z runs on the Android 9 Pie, Asus recently released an OTA update (September 4, 2019) with an updated security patch, speed improvement for fingerprint unlock and Asus App unlock. The software build WW_V16.0615.1908.109 is now available for download.
Asus may release a stable Android 10 update for ZenFone 5Z and ZenFone 6 (Asus 6z in India) in the coming months.
