The camera app that comes pre-installed on most Android devices is going to be more than enough for people who just want to take the add snap here and there, but if you are looking for something new and interesting, you might like Sony’s MotionShot camera app included on its flagship smartphone Xperia Z1.
Sony Xperia Z1’s MotionShot camera can be installed on other Android devices running Ice Cream Sandwich and greater. An XDA forum member ported this app for other Android devices and can be installed just as you would with any other APK file.
The MotionShot camera takes photographs of a moving object at high speed and produces a composite image showing the split-second action. It is ideal for shooting extreme sports, fast-moving wildlife, kids’ activities, moving vehicles and like that.
The ported app works fine on most devices. It requires at least 500MB of free space on your phone to run the app. You can download the APK from source here.
