Realme 2 and C1 are the budget Android smartphones launched with Android 8.1 out of the box. Both are getting October 2019 security patches and Google Digital Wellbeing update. The October update build version RMX1805EX_11.A.61 has also carried many new features as well, such as manual lock, redesigned notification center style, and more.

Realme 2 and C1 recently updated to Android 9.0 (ColorOS 6.0) with several new features. The October update adds Google Digital Wellbeing (Google first introduced it in Android 9), which is a set of tools to control your smartphone usage.

October update also carries a few known bug fixes as well. It will fix the Wi-Fi connection issue, applications crash, system stuck, screen brightness issue, and USB pop-up window cannot show up when connecting to PC.

Realme starts rolling out RMX1805EX_11.A.6 update via OTA. Check your update by going to the system update menu.

Realme posted update for Realme 2 and C1 on their software portal, from where you can download the full OTA update file, in case you want to update manually.

To install the update manually, boot into recovery mode, select language > from phone storage > Select the ColouOS OTA package > tap OK to begin installation.

Realme 2 and Realme C1 are budget smartphones launched under the 10K price segment. The company recently upgraded both devices to ColorOS 6.0 (Android 9.0) from ColorOS 5.2 (Android 8.1). Unfortunately, Realme 2 and C1 won’t get an Android 10 update.
