Cyanogen team has released the first stable version of CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM for a host of devices including Nexus 4. Based on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, the CM12.1 snapshot takes account of various security patches, including Stagefright patch. Also, it brings many new features to the device, such as Live Display, DPI changer, Lockscreen visualizer, and various hand gestures.
Cyanogen team has released the Cyanogen OS 12.1 (Android 5.1.1) update for OnePlus One. The OTA (over-the-air) notification for the update will arrive on your device soon. If you are running on the most recent Cyanogen OS 12, you can install the OTA update manually or via recovery.
Global beta version of MIUI 7 ROM 5.8.22 is now available for Redmi 1S, Redmi 2, Mi 4i, Mi 3, Mi 4, Redmi Note 3G and Redmi Note 4G devices. Beta testers will receive the OTA (over-the-air) update on their device soon or it can be updated via ‘Updater’ app by downloading the OTA firmware file. You can also download the full ROM and flash it via fastboot.
Xiaomi Mi3 and Mi4 users can now enjoy Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on their device by installing official CyanogenMod 12.1 custom ROM. Xiaomi will release the new MIUI7 ROM based on the Android 5.1 Lollipop on Aug 24 for most devices, including Mi3 and Mi4. However, if you prefer stock Android UI rather than Xiaomi’s MIUI on your Mi3 or Mi4, go ahead and install Official CyanogenMod 12.1 on it.
