Honor 9N and Honor 9 Lite EMUI 9.0 Beta (Android 9 Pie) test starts in India. If you want to take part in the beta program and help the company to bring the best version of EMUI 9.0 for both phones, then you can apply for the EMUI 9.0 Beta through the HwFut app. The beta firmware will be available for the phone via over the air.
Huawei’s version of Android 9 Pie is called EMUI 9.0 and it features intuitive design, simplified UI, faster app launch times and nature’s sound. New Quick Settings UI design, redesigned volume slider, Adaptive battery, Adaptive brightness, full-screen navigation, Digital Balance (an alternative to Google’s Digital Wellbeing), etc. are some of the other features of Android Pie.
How to Apply for EMUI 9.0 Beta
If you want to join the Honor 9N and Honor 9 Lite Android 9 Pie (EMUI 9.0) beta test program, download the HwFut app APK file and install it on your phone.
Open the app and accept terms & condition and then login with your HW ID. After login, select Personal > Join Project > Available Project.
Once it is ready, you will receive the beta firmware update via over the air. Once the OTA notification appeared on the phone, select to update your phone.
Honor 9N and Honor 9 Lite was launched with EMUI 8.0 out of the box. Honor 9N features a 5.84-inch Full-view display, while the Honor 9 Lite features a 5.65-inch Full-view display. Both phone features HiSilicon Kirin 659 Octa-core processor, dual camera (13 MP+2 MP) on the back and 3000 mAh battery.
Honor 9 Lite is available in 4GB/3GB RAM options and 64GB/32GB storage options, while the Honor 9N is available in 32/64/128 GB storage options and 4GB/3GB ROM options. Regarding the front camera, Honor 9 Lite features dual (13 MP+2 MP) camera and Honor 9N features a single 16MP camera.
