Samsung has started Galaxy Android 7.0 Nougat Beta program for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in select countries. An application called ‘Galaxy Beta Program’ is available in the Samsung App store that allows users to join the Galaxy Android 7.0 Beta testing program. If you would like to try the pre-release beta version of the Android 7.0 Nougat on your device, here is how to enroll for the beta program.
Currently, Samsung’s Android Nougat Beta program is available in the UK only. To participate in the beta program, Galaxy S7 and S7 edge users need to download and install the Galaxy Beta Program app from the Samsung Apps store. Note that Samsung not yet officially announced the program, so no ETA is available for now. However, it is expect that an OTA update with Android 7.0 Nougat would be released soon.
If you enroll for the Galaxy Beta program, you can experience new features and the new and refined UX based Android 7.0 Nougat on your device first.
If you cannot find the Galaxy Beta Program app in the App store, you can download and install the APK to enroll for the program. Note that Samsung Beta program not yet started. You will be notified once the Galaxy Beta Program starts.
How to Enroll for Android 7.0 Nougat Beta Program
1. Download Galaxy Beta Program app from APK Mirror here and install it on your device.
2. After installation, open the app and follow the onscreen instructions
3. Once the beta program starts, you will get the Android 7.0 Nougat Beta OTA update
Note that, the Beta program is intended to test out the final firmware before the official release to the public, so it is limited to few select users only. Even if you register for the Beta program via this app, there is no guarantee that you will be selected for the program. (Source – 1, 2)
