Finally, Xiaomi has started beta testing Android 8.1 Oreo on Xiaomi Mi A1, the company’s first Android One smartphone. It is expected that the stable Oreo 8.1 update will be rolled to the phone by next month (July). In fact, Mi A1 Oreo 8.1 beta firmware (build OPM1.171019.019.V9.6.2.0.ODHMIFE) is available for download.
