Xiaomi POCO F1 (Pocophone), which features top-notch specs and affordable price tag is available globally now. The phone features Poco customized MIUI and launcher in order to make the device lighter, faster and smoother. The old MIUI launcher and the new Poco launcher have some differences. The latter features a customizable App Drawer and App Shortcut function.

Xiaomi Poco launcher is now available for download. You can install the launcher on any phone running MIUI ROM and experience the new customizable App Drawer, App Shortcut function and more. Since most users prefer to have app drawer functionality on their phone, there might have some sense in Xiaomi’s new launcher.

As said above the Poco Launcher has some uniqueness when compare to MIUI launcher. The new one intelligently categorizes apps and makes searching for them easier and faster. Regarding the App Shortcut Function, when you long press an app you will get more functions like app info, uninstall and more.

Xiaomi POCO F1 comes with latest Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6GB/8GB RAM options, 64/128/256GB internal storage options, 6.18 inches display with notch, 4,000 mAh battery and more. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based MIUI 9.6 ROM and it will be updated to Android Pie eventually.

How to Install Poco Launcher

1. Download the launcher APK from here.

2. Tap the APK file to install it. If your device is running on Nougat or lower Android version, enable Unknown Sources option. If you are on Oreo or later, grant permission to Chrome.

3. You are now ready to use your new launcher.

Note that POCO launcher will completely replace the old MIUI launcher. However, you can always go back to your old MIUI launcher by uninstalling the update. To do so, go to Settings > Installed Apps > search for System Launcher > Uninstall All Update.
