One of the new tools available on Android 6.0 Marshmallow is the System UI Tuner that lets you edit settings on your phone, which usually requires root access. With System UI Tuner, you can rearrange quick settings toggle, show/hide items on the status bar, enable embedded battery percentage in the battery indicator, etc.
Along with the release of Android 6.0 Marshmallow factory images, Google has also started to roll out OTA (over-the-air) updates to Nexus devices. Currently Android 6.0 OTA updates (build version MRA58K) are available for Nexus 9 W-Fi/LTE and Nexus 7 2013 LTE variants. However, your device should be running on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop (LMY48T) to get the OTA update.
The final build of Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been released and the factory images (MRA58K) for Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 and Nexus 9 is now available for download, which means tech-savvy users can flash the firmware right away, without waiting for the OTA (over-the-air) update.
As expected, Motorola will upgrade some of their popular smartphones to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which includes Moto X 2014 and Moto G 2014, but unfortunately, there is no indication about the budget Moto E. Anyway, most Motorola smartphones users can enjoy all the new features of Android 6.0 Marshmallow within the next few months.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is expected to arrive on 5th October, so you have not got long to wait to enjoy the new features.
