Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO releases MIUI 9.6.22.0 update for Pocophone F1 with several improvements, bug fixes and August 2018 security patch, as well as enables Face Unlock in certain region. As usual, the update (9.6.22.0.OEJMIFD) is pushed via OTA (over-the-air), which weighs around 423MB and it may take a week or a month to get it on all devices.
If you cannot wait for the OTA, you can download MIUI 9.6.22.0 OEJMIFD update file and install it manually on POCO F1. There are three methods to install software update on POCO F1. The first two methods (Updater app and stock Recovery methods) are very simple, but your device should be on the latest stable version of MIUI ROM.
The third and last Fastboot method is bit complicated and required unlocked bootloader. However, the ROM version you are on is not important.
