Android 9 Pie was released a week back with a number of new features and enhancements. Google Pixel and Essential phone have already updated to this version. It seems that other OEMs are also busy releasing the new update for their devices. Motorola announced a list of phones that get official Android 9 Pie update starting this fall.

Motorola listed eight of its phones (in G, Z, and X family) that will get Android Pie update. Unfortunately, the list does not include popular Moto G5 family, even the one year old G5S and G5S Plus not in the list. In addition, there is not mention about the budget Moto E family.
