Xiaomi Mi A1 Android One phone has got first custom ROM support with LieageOS 14.1. An unofficial version of LineageOS 14.1 based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat has been released for Mi A1, thanks to the XDA member ‘deadman96385’. The ROM is not yet fully functional (status Alpha), but major parts of the ROM are working as expected. Custom ROM fans can tryout the build right now.
Asus ZenFone 4 Pro (ZS551KL) has got new software update, which bumps the build number to 14.2610.1711.35. The update improves camera performance, battery life, brings VoLTE features and more. Asus starts rolling out the OTA (over the air) update and since the update is rolling out in phases, it will take a week or more to get the OTA notification on your ZenFone 4 Pro. Asus ZenFone 4 Max (ZC554KL) starts getting ZenUI 4.0 update with build number 14.2016.1711.215. The update enables CHT/FET/TST VoLTE and FET VoWIFI, and improves double tapping function, alongside general bug fixes and optimizations. Asus has started rolling out the OTA update, but if you have problem installing the OTA update (like network issues), you can download and install the update on your ZenFone 4 Max (ZC554KL) manually as described below.
After successful beta testing, stable version of Android 8.1 Oreo is now starts rolling out with December 2017 Security Patches to all supported Pixel and Nexus devices.
