[Original post] OnePlus phones are known for its high specifications and low prices. There is no discrepancy with the latest OnePlus 7, though there is a Pro variant with a little higher price. OnePlus 7 looks a lot like the OnePlus 6T, but it features flagship Snapdragon 855 Octa processor, dual camera, 6.41 inches Optic AMOLED display with water-drop notch, 3700 mAh with 20W fast charge and more.
[Update] June 27, 2019: The global variant OnePlus 7 (GM57AA) starts getting a new OxygenOS 9.5.6 update with June 2019 security patches, bug fixes and optimizations. The update will improve phone call audio quality, improves camera, and sensitivity of automatic brightness. A similar update for European variant OnePlus 7 (GM57BA) will commence soon.
The cheaper variant OnePlus 7 receives a new software update that improves camera performance. The latest OxygenOS 9.5.5 update for the OnePlus 7 includes improvements for the camera based on users’ feedback. The update will improve brightness, color and clarity of Nightscape photos, brings better contrast and color on photos, and more.
Along with camera improvements, OxygenOS 9.5.5 integrates May 2019 Android security, general bug fixes and system improvements. Below are full changelog of this update.

Download, installation and other details
OxygenOS 9.5.5 is an incremental OTA update, so wait to get it. If you have not received it, check it in the System Update menu (Settings > System Updates > Check for OTA updates).
If you want to capture the OTA update early, either install a VPN app (set the location Canada or Germany in VPN) and check for the update. Alternatively use the Oxygen Updater app (unofficial) and check for the update in the app.

Note that there are certain variants of OnePlus 7 models for global, European and Indian region. The firmware package comes with different build tags, such as GM57AA and GM57BA. GM57AA is intended for GM1901 (India) and GM1905 (Global/US unlocked), while GM57BA is intended for GM1903 (EU). There are other variants for carrier locked OnePlus 7, for example T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.

How to Install Latest OxygenOS Update on OnePlus 7
Note: This method will not wipe user data from the phone, but we recommend to back up your data first.
1. Download firmware zip file and save it in the root directory (not in any folder) of your OnePlus device.
2. Now, open Settings app, click System updates menu, then tap on the top right settings icon and choose Local Upgrade.
3. It will start searching for an upgrade package. Once you see an upgrade package, tap on it and then click the install option.
After the successful installation, the device will reboot to system automatically.
