After a long wait, finally the OnePlus 2 has received official CyanogenMod 13 ROM, which brings Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow along with latest security patch to the device. This is the first Nightly build of CM13 for OnePlus 2, which you can download from CyanogenMod website and flash via custom recovery.
CyanogenMod 13 brings Marshmallow’s features like Doze (battery saver), personalized app permissions, etc. as well as CM features like new SMS app, new Privacy Guard, theme engine and more to OnePlus 2. At present, it is a Nightly build, which means it may include bugs that are not yet identified and cannot be used as daily driver.
Interested OnePlus 2 owners can install the CyanogenMod 13, if root access and latest TWRP custom recovery installed on their device. CM13 for OnePlus 2 weigh 435.73 MB and you need to flash Gapps (Google apps and services) as well to enjoy full Android.

1. Download CyanogenMod 13 ROM Zip file [HERE] and save it on your phone’s internal memory. Also, download Gapps (Marshmallow compatible) [HERE] and save it in the phone’s internal memory.
2. Boot your OnePlus 2 into TWRP recovery (use Volume Up and Power key combinations)
3. Use the backup option in TWRP recovery to back up your stock ROM, as this will give you a way to undo changes should you wish to return to stock.
4. In recovery, select ‘Install’, navigate to CyanogenMod 13 Zip file and swipe right to flash. Repeat the same for flashing Gapps as well.
5. Once done, reboot your OnePlus 2.
Once booted up, set up and enjoy Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on your OnePlus 2.
