Netflix is one of the best services for watching movies and TV shows online. Each member in your home can create their personalized Netflix profile (up to five profiles) in your account. Each profile can password protect with a four-digit PIN. So, other people in your home won’t mess up your personalized Netflix recommendations and can’t see your viewing history.
Another advantage of locking your Netflix account is that you can stop your kids using your profile to watch programs for mature audiences. It makes the service more child-friendly. You can also review your child’s profile settings and monitor what they have been watching. Here’s how to protect your Netflix profile.

How to protect your Netflix profile with four-digit PIN?
- Launch Netflix on your PC or Mobile device
- Go to your Account
- You will see the Profile & Parental Controls.
- Select Profile Lock and enter your account password.
- Check the box that says Require a PIN to Access Your Account
- Enter a four-digit PIN in the box and save the settings.

As said, you can create up to five individual Netflix profiles, and each profile can protect with a PIN to stop unauthorized access. However, only the account holder can set up the PIN for each profile.
