Android Jelly Bean and KitKat have a hidden App Permissions Manager called “App Ops” built-in, which control permissions for apps. There is no direct way to access App Ops to control permissions, but the little app called Permission Manager brings a shortcut for launching the hidden App Permission Manager.

App Ops feature is now available for every device running Android 4.3 and above and this app, Permission Manager, allows you to disable many permissions on a per app basis.

What is great with this app is it is completely free (no ads) and no root access required on devices. Also, no permission is required. It just works above Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean, Kitkat, etc.).

You can install Permission Manager – App ops from Play Store
