Samsung Galaxy S8 owners can now enjoy Galaxy S9 features via Galaxy S9 ROM Port, thanks to the S9 system dump leaked a few days ago. XDA senior member AlexisXDA has released Galaxy S9 ROM Port with all the possible goodies of Samsung Galaxy S9. The custom ROM works with Galaxy S8 and S8+ sold in European and Indian market.
This custom ROM is based on Galaxy S9 Oreo XXU1ARB3 stock firmware and includes most of the new features along with Samsung Experience 9.0 and January 2018 security patches. Known bugs in this ROM are Intelligent scan, S9 Camera and Dolby Audio.
Galaxy S9 ROM Port is fully debloated, responsive, fast and battery friendly. With the included Aroma installer, tech-minded people can choose what they want on their device. If Galaxy S8 (Exynos variant) is rooted and have latest version of TWRP recovery, then you can try this custom ROM.
Keep in mind that since you need to install the custom ROM via a modified recovery, the below given procedure will alter the Knox counter on your device and as a result device warranty will void.
