Xiaomi announced its brand new Android skin update MIUI 10 at a launch event held on May 31 along with Mi 8 and Mi 8SE. Xiaomi starts rolling out MIUI 10 China Developer ROM as closed beta to a number of devices, including Xiaomi Mi 5, Mi 6, and Mi Mix 2S and Redmi Note 5. MIUI 10 Global ROM will also be available soon.

MIUI 10 China Beta ROM has been leaked online and available for Xiaomi Mi 5, Mi 6, and Mi Mix 2S and Redmi Note 5 (Note 5 Pro in India). Since there is an option for English (you can change in the settings menu), any experienced users can download and flash the ROM right now. However, the ROM does not include Google Play store and other Google services.

As usual, Xiaomi’s new update, MIUI 10 is also comes with several UI changes and new usability features. Improved Recents menu, Full-Screen gestures (no navigation keys), redesigned Volume sliders, revamped Notification toggles, Driving mode, AI camera with Portrait mode, etc. are the main changes of MIUI 10.

To install the ROM, your device bootloader must unlocked and have latest version of TWRP on it. After downloading the firmware, you can flash it via TWRP. You may follow this detailed installation guide for instruction.
