Luckily, there is a simple trick to add the hidden Google Weather and Calendar widget on any Android phone’s home screen, even if it has a custom launcher.

Google’s weather interface on Android is famous for the cute little frog that looks like doing different things outdoors depending on your local weather conditions. And, the weather information page will show you all-weather details of your location, including a 10-day forecast.

Google weather widget or “At A Glance” widget features date and month along with weather details. Here’s how to add it to your phone’s home screen.

Steps to Add Google’s Home Screen Weather Widget on any Phone

Step 1: Go to Play Store and update your Google App to the latest version.

Step 2: Next, long-press on an empty place on the home screen of your phone, and tap on the Widget option.

Step 3: In widgets, scroll down to Google.

Step 4: Under Google, you will see four widgets. Long tap on At A Glance widget to bring it to your phone’s home screen.

You have now added the Google weather and calendar widget to your phone’s home screen. After a few minutes, you will see weather information of your location on the home screen.

The calendar widget makes it easy to keep track of your life’s important events. The Calendar app gives you all the tools you need to get organized and informed.

It provides multiple views of the day, week, and month. You can create and view to-dos, your events, and add goals. If your phone has two calendar apps, tapping on the widget will ask you to choose Google Calendar.
