Android Go apps, such as Camera Go, YouTube Go, Gmail Go, etc. are stripped-down versions for Go edition smartphones. These apps require fewer resources but have all the necessary features. For example, the Google Camera Go app features Face enhancement, Photo, Video, Portrait mode, Night Mode, smart storage features, Google Lens, and a built-in visual translator.

Comes to the subject, Google Camera Go edition has received Night Mode with a recent update version v1.8.3. Camera Go is lightweight (around 15MP in size), so it runs well on entry-level and flagship phones alike. Google has also plan to add HDR support to the app.

FYI, Android Go is the barebone version of the Android operating system for budget smartphones. It offers faster performance on Android (Go edition) smartphones with an optimized operating system and Google Go apps. Also, it requires less storage space, and Google’s new Adiantum encryption ensures enhanced security without affecting the phone’s performance.
