Tata Docomo has just launched 3G services in India and became the first private telecoms service provider in the country to roll out 3G services. Tata Docomo has a HSPA+ 3G network which can deliver 3G speeds up-to 21mbps. However, the service is currently available in few selected cities and states like Kerala, Maharashtra, UP, Gujarat, etc.
If you’re a Tata Docomo user, here is how to configure internet settings for Docomo 3G in your Nokia, Android, Windows mobile and iPhone.
The simplest way to activate Tata Docomo 3G is, just SMS 3GLife to 53333 and follow the simple instructions from Tata Docomo. Manual methods are given below.
Tata Docomo 3G settings for Nokia phones: Open mobile settings in your Nokia mobile phone, then got to network settings and create a new connection with APN as TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET and save the settings.
[Or] From the Tools section, open Nokia Settings Wizard application. Follow the wizard driven instruction to complete the 3G set-up.
Tata Docomo 3G settings for Android and Windows mobile: For HTC Sense, there is an automatic setting downloader application. Other makes phones need to configure the network settings manually using the APN ‘TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET’
Tata Docomo 3G settings for Apple iPhone 4, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS: From your iPhone go to settings – General – Network – Select Enable 3G.Then click on the cellular data network and input the APN ‘TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET’ and save the settings. [via]

First, activate your SIM card to 3G, then go to wireless and networking settings -mobile network and change network mode to WCDMA (or similar),then enable GPRS. If working change etwork mode to to auto. For manual configuration, look other comments published above.

select Use packet data

sad to hear but there is no 3g setting for 2g plans after 3g docomo reduced cost of 2g as well as speed i suggest use idea plans r lil costy of 2g but u will get 3g range suerly docomo is just a shit

For ICS 4.0, go to settings>More>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names
Go to Options, and select “New APN”
I am writing the settings you need to change, leave the rest as they are
APN: tatadocomo3g
DialNumber: *99#
Name: TATA DOCOMO
Authentication Type: CHAP
Select Options>Save, then select TATA DOCOMO, and you are good to go
Do let me know if you face any problem with these settings
PS: This works only for tata docomo 3g enabled sim in places where docomo 3g network is available.

Thne no setting is received in inbox so i did manual work as Setting >Wireless & Networks>Mobile Networks>Access point names>Options>New APN>

and save it. Didnt change any default setting. Switched On and OFF my cell but still no access to internet.
Even i tried to call customer care number of times but the call is getting disconnected.

If your SIM card is 3G or converted to 3G, I think your A50 Ninja requires no additional settings. You can enable 3G right from the notification bar. Alternatively try to change network mode to WCDMA from Network settin.

If your sim card is 3G, I think you can enable 3G right from its status bar. If not working, go to wireless and networking and try changing auto network mode to manual.
