When it is time to upgrade to a new Android phone, your old device is often soon forgotten about. However, there is still a wide range of things you can do with it. For example, you can use it as a wireless headphone for your TV or PC or turn it into a remote control for your PC.

Here is how to turn your Android phone into a wireless headphone for your TV or PC with the Wireless Headphone app. As it name implies the app lets you turn your Android phone into a wireless headphone for your TV or PC.

The working of this app is simple. Install the app on your Android phone and the sever app on your PC. The server redirects the audio stream from your PC to the smartphone via Wi-Fi, which turns into a wireless headphone. Note that, your PC should have a Wi-Fi and it should be enabled.

How to stream audio from Your TV to your Android Phone

Connect the TV headphone jack to your PC’s microphone input using a male-to-male 3.5mm audio cable to stream the audio from the TV to the smartphone, which turns into a wireless headphone (see above connection diagram).
