Google’s brilliant browser Chrome may be one of the internet’s most secure browsers. To make it even more secure Google just added a new Download Protection feature to Chrome, which protects users against malicious downloads.
This new feature, built on the ‘Safe Browsing API’, will be included into Google Chrome and displays a warning if a user attempts to download suspected malicious software or any executables.
Currently this new download protection has available in Chrome dev channel, Canary, and Chromium builds. It will be available to beta and stable build after thorough testing [via]
