Meta is rolling out a voice message transcript feature for WhatsApp. This feature will transcribe audio messages into written text. This feature will be helpful to know the content of the voice message when you are in a noisy place where the audio often gets lost in the background sound. Additionally, people with hearing impairments can also use this feature.

Meta’s new voice message transcript feature for WhatsApp currently supports a limited number of languages, including Russian, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, and English. However, on iOS devices, users may have access to more language options if Siri is enabled.
