Earlier this month, Paranoid Android made a come back with Paranoid Android 6.0.1 ROM. Now, the team updated its AOSPA ROM with many bug fixes and support for many new devices, including the brand new OnePlus 3 and Google Pixel C. The most important changes in this update are inclusion of June security patch, updated Theme Engine, updated browser, camera, gallery, etc.

The Paranoid Android 6.0.1 update also include faster charging with the circle battery icon enabled, enables you to change the mobile network settings in all languages, fixes for Gallery app force close when editing a picture. Also, this update bring improved power efficiency for OnePlus 2, fix for ambient display and proximity sensor issues for OnePlus One and OnePlus X, etc.

Besides the usual supported devices (Nexus and OnePlus), Paranoid announced the support for all 22 Sony Xperia devices with the help of Sony’s ‘Open Devices Project’. Currently PA 6.0.1 ROM available for Sony’s Shinano family device (Xperia Z2, Z3, etc.) and for other families, such as Rhine, Yukon and Kitakami are iminent.

If you are already installed the Paranoid Android 6.0.1 ROM on your device, note that you will not be receiving an OTA update for this version, because the team still testing the OTA (over the air update) to make sure things work well.
