Imagine, your Android phone is resting on the desk or plugged into a wall socket for charging and you are away from it, and if someone picks up your phone or unplugged from its charger, your phone sounds an alarm. This way you can protect your phone when you are out and about, without having to watch the phone all times.

The Anti-Theft Alarm app makes it possible to sound an alarm if someone picks up your phone or unplugged from the charger. The app is quite simple to use. Once installed, without any setting up, you are ready to activate one or both of two alarm conditions.

First, install Anti-Theft Alarm app from Play store [HERE] and open it. You will see two alarm settings – Motion and Charger. Both are self-explanatory and you can activate one or both alarm conditions whenever you need it.

To use the motion alarm, select the motion icon and touch ‘Activate alarm’. A countdown starts so put your phone on a solid surface before it expires. Touch Stop Alarm before picking it up, otherwise the alarm will sound.

The charger alarm sounds if the phone is unplugged from its charger. Select the charge icon and touch ‘Activate alarm’. When it is unplugged, the alarm sounds unless you have disabled it first. If it sounds, touch the button to turn it off.

Now, here is how to make it more secure. You can make it more secure using a PIN or pattern to silence the alarm. Touch ‘No protection’ and then select Pin or Pattern from the menu.
