Google just updated its Gmail service with big new features. The new inbox will auto organize your incoming emails into groups such as Primary, Social, Promotions, Updates and Forums. This new feature will be available on android, iOS, and desktop version of Gmail. Here is how to enable new tabbed inbox in web version of Gmail
Sign into your Gmail account and click the Gear like icon (shown on the right top of the screen) and click “Configure inbox”. A popup window will appear asking you to choose desired tabs.
Primary, Social and Promotions tabs are checked by default and if you wish, you can choose other two options (updates and forums) as well. Once you checked your options click “Save” button to save your settings.
Now, your e-mails will be organized among the tabs. You can also move e-mails between tabs by just clicking and dragging.
