Over-The-Air (OTA) updates are crucial for maintaining the security and functionality of Android smartphones. While users can manually check for updates in the device’s Settings, it’s important to note that not all devices receive updates simultaneously worldwide. To help you, we regularly update our website with the latest OTA updates and offer a tutorial on how to sideload the OTA update.
There are two main (and traditional) methods for installing OTA updates on Android devices: Sideloading the OTA zip using ADB (Android Debug Bridge) and applying updates directly from the stock recovery. The first ADB method requires connecting the device to a PC, while the second recovery method is simpler but may not be available on all devices.
A new third method is also there to install OTA updates without PC on Android devices. It involves using Shizuku app and Root Activity Launcher to sideload OTA updates without needing a PC, offering a robust alternative for users. And it does not require root access.
