Google has released its standalone camera app to Google Play, which can be installed on all Android phones and tablets running on KitKat (Android 4.4+). The main attraction of Google Camera app is Photo Sphere feature that lets you take 360-degree panoramic images.

Besides Photo Sphere, Google Camera app brings several other features such as Creative picture modes like Lens Blur mode for taking SLR-like photos with shallow depth of field and Panorama mode with high resolution, 100% viewfinder for getting the maximum resolution from the sensor (no dropped pixels) and more.

Even though features like Photo Sphere and panorama mode is already available on the new HTC One M8 (called Panorama 360), Samsung Galaxy S5 (called Surround Shot which you can install as a plug-in from Samsung Apps store), and LG G2 (called VR Panorama) camera apps, Google Camera app is worth a download.

You can install the Google Camera app from Play Store and snaps quick and easy photos and videos with creative picture modes like Photo Sphere, Lens Blur and Panorama.
