Mozilla to Release Firefox for Low End Android Devices

Mozilla to release its most popular browser, Firefox for low end Android Devices (Android phone with ARMv6 processor). Most Android users can now enjoy the best of desktop browsing experience on their Android phone, as until now, Firefox only worked with newer devices. The latest nightly build works perfectly on devices like Samsung Galaxy Mini, Galaxy Ace, etc.

Firefox for Android offers faster page loading times and improved synchronization (bookmarks, history, tabs, etc) with the desktop version of the browser. It’s fast, easy to use and customizable, with the latest security and privacy features to help you stay safe online.


You can try the latest Firefox nightly build (alpha) for Android by downloading from Mozilla’s FTP server. The installation process is just like installing any other APK file. Download the APK, install it and start browsing.

Note that, this is an Alpha version, so there are a few things that don’t work on your device. Also, it is not compatible with all of the current plug-ins available on the market.
