Progressive Internet Explorer

2

Internet Explore still has widest usage share in the world than other browsers. But one of the biggest problems of Internet Explorer 6, 7 and 8 is that it can’t display the latest CSS3 elements such as rounded corner, gradient, soft drop shadows, etc properly (though IE 9 will support it). IE still requires the old complex sprite images, extra non-semantic markup, and large JavaScript libraries to display such styling features. But with CSS3 Pie you can design your site with CSS3 and make your website appear in Internet Explorer as it should in all other browsers. See demo here.

CSS3 Pie is a JavaScript based tool and very simple to implement it in your site. It helps Internet Explorer to recognize cool CSS3 features. Read it here to know how to implement it in your site.

PIE (a.k.a. Progressive Internet Explorer) currently has full or partial support for the following CSS3 properties: border-radius, box-shadow, border-image, multiple background images, and linear-gradient as background image.  (Via)
