Since Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge supports external microSD card and runs on Android Marshmallow, you can extend its internal storage by using Marshmallow’s native Adoptable Storage feature, though Samsung disabled this feature. You do not need root access or install any file on your Galaxy S7 or S7 edge to extend its internal memory.
In this tutorial, we show you how to extend internal storage on Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge without root access by exploiting Adoptable Storage feature. Introduced on Android Marshmallow, Adoptable storage lets you use phone’s micro SD card as device’s internal storage, which means you will get more space on your device to install apps and games.
Galaxy S7 and S7 edge comes with 32/64 GB internal memory. However, after installing many apps and games, even if you are not getting a ‘Not enough memory’ error every time you try to download a new app, your device may be more sluggish than it was before, because you are running low on internal memory. While you can free up memory by deleting unwanted apps, this is not a long-term solution. You can answer this issue by extending internal memory.

How to Extend Internal Memory on Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
Note: Your microSD card will format into Ext4 and encrypt, so you cannot use the adopted SD card on other devices without decrypting it.
1. Before start, backup every file you have on your microSD card.
2. Enable USB Debugging on your Galaxy S7 (Go to Settings -> Developer Options and enable USB Debugging)
3. Download Android Debug Bridge package on your computer [HERE] and run it.
4. Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable. Make sure you have proper driver for your phone installed on the computer.
5. Open Command Prompt on your computer and type sm list-disks. This will display the disk ID of your phone’s card, for instance 179:160.
6. Now, enter the command: sm partition disk: 179:160 (replace 179:160 with your own disk ID). Wait for the process to finish and reboot your phone.
That is it. Disconnect Galaxy S7 from your PC, go to Settings -> Storage and you will see that the microSD card memory is now merged with internal storage (Source – MoDaCo)
