The Dynamic AMOLED display on Samsung Galaxy smartphones provides the best visual experience in any lighting condition. And on the latest Galaxy phones, there are two screen modes – Vivid and Natural – under the display settings menu to choose for the best visual experience. But, did you know that there are three more screen modes in Samsung Galaxy S20 series phones?
Samsung Galaxy S20 has five screen modes, but except for Vivid and Natural Mode, the other three modes – Cinema, Photo, and Basic – are hidden from users for a specific reason. Want to test the hidden Screen Modes on your Galaxy S20 phone? Check the guide to know how to enable them.
Steps to Enable Hidden Screen Modes on Galaxy S20 FE 5G
1. Go to Settings, tap on Display, choose Screen mode, and set the screen mode to Natural (Important).
2. Enable USB Debugging on your phone by going to Settings > Developer Options.
3. Connect your Galaxy S20 to your PC via a USB cable.
4. Go to the Platforms Tools folder and open a command window from there.
5. Type the command adb devices in the Command prompt/Powershell and hit Enter. Your device ID should list in the command window.
6. Now type the command adb shell settings put system screen_mode_setting 0 and hit the Enter key. (This command will enable ‘Cinema’ Screen mode on your Galaxy S20 FE).
7. Similarly, replace 0 with 1, 2, 3, 4 for other screen modes (0= AMOLED cinema, 1= AMOLED photo, 2= Basic, 3= Natural, 4= Vivid).
8. After executing the command, go to Settings > Display > Screen Mode and go back to enable the new display mode.
Note that the above command won’t add the screen mode in the OneUI settings menu. You need to execute the above command with your preferred Mode and go to the Screen Mode under Display settings.
