ClearCloud is a new initiative from Sunbelt Software that offers a safe internet surfing. It is a DNS service; if implemented on your PC, it will filters out malicious website.
ClearCloud will check every web address your computer is trying to access – when you’re browsing the internet, clicking a link in an email, or a program trying to access the internet for update – and blocks if a malicious activity found.
Even if your computer is protected by a powerful antivirus software, ClearCloud still be useful to protect your computer from an unexpected virus or malware attack.
If you’re interested you can replace your current DNS Server to:
Preferred DNS server: 74.118.212.1
Alternate DNS server: 74.118.212.2
If you don’t know how to change your DNS Server on your Windows (XP/Vista/7), Mac OSX, and Routers, just enters here for details.And finally, to check whether the ClearCloud working properly on your computer, just try any of these two addresses on your browser: test.ssdsandbox.net or clearcloudtest.ssdsandbox.net , if not you will get as shown above screenshot.
