Xaiomi starts rolling out MIUI 8.2.9.0 Global stable ROM for Redmi 4A with various optimizations and bug fixes. The incremental OTA update (MIUI V8.2.9.0. MCCMIDL) starts getting on Redmi 4A and it will take few days to get on all devices. if your Redmi 4A is running on the most recent version of the MIUI 8.2 Global Stable ROM, you can install the OTA update. Alternatively you can download and install the full ROM manually. 

The MIUI 8.2.9.0 Global stable ROM for Redmi 4A includes various system optimizations, bug fixes and features like system app updater, scrolling screenshot, etc. The update ensures improved system performance with better RAM management. If you do not have the OTA update for some reason, here is how to install the update manually.

If you have not received the OTA notification for the new update on your device yet, you can check it manually by going to Settings > About Phone > System updates > Check for update. If update found, download and install it.

Alternatively, you can download and install the MIUI 8.2.9.0 Global stable ROM (full firmware) manually. Read on to know how it is.

How to Install MIUI 8 Global Stable 8.2.9.0.MCCMIDL ROM on Redmi 4A

1. Download 8.2.6.9.MCCMIDL ROM [HERE] and save it on your Redmi 4A’s internal memory.

2. Launch the ‘Updater’ app on your phone, tap on 3 horizontal dots (…)at the top-right corner, select ‘Choose update package’ and then select the ROM file you have saved.

3. Your device will start updating and will reboot after finishing the update. (Source – MIUI)
